Meeting Location: Tay Municipal Office (450 Park Street, Victoria Harbour)
Time: Walkers begin at 2:00 p.m.
When: Every Tuesday in the summer.
Walkers will meet for group pole walking at the front of the Municipal Office
Please wear appropriate active wear. Walkers are welcome to join without the use of poles if preferred.
Activity is weather dependent.

Description:
Grab a lantern and discover the shadows of the past as you explore the darkened 17th century historic mission of Sainte-Marie.
Watch the sparks fly in the blacksmith shop. Roast bannock on a stick. Hear the creatures of the Wye River stir to life. Sip tea by the crackling fire in the longhouse, listen to Indigenous stories, and imagine what Wendake would have been like in the 1600s at night.
This is a small-group experience. Advanced tickets are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Tickets: $ 20 tax included – not recommended for kids 10 and under

Please join us for the 10th Annual Kids Fishing Derby! Kids will register at the Albert St. Dock in Victoria Harbour. There will be free hotdogs, fries, and drinks for the participants! Bait will be supplied and there will be great prizes to win!

Georgian Bay Forever will be hosting their annual community cut for invasive Phragmites! The work will be taking place both in water and on land along the shoreline. Equipment will be provided, but it is recommended that volunteers bring gloves, waders and/or shoes for working in the water, along with water to drink, sunscreen, hat, bug spray and whatever else needed for working outdoors.
In case of a thunderstorm and/or heavy rainfall, the event will be cancelled and rescheduled to the next day (Friday July 26th). Cancelations will be posted on our website event page and shared through our social media platforms.
Where: Waubaushene Dock/Beach area at the bottom of Pine St in Tay Township.
When: Thursday July 25th (rain date Friday July 26th) from 9am-12pm
