The Municipal Office will be closing at 12:30pm on Thursday, August 22, 2024 for a Staff Appreciation Event. The office will re-open Friday, August 23, 2024 at 8:30am.

Georgian Bay Forever will be hosting their annual community cut for invasive Phragmites! The work will be taking place both in water and on land along the shoreline. Equipment will be provided, but it is recommended that volunteers bring gloves,
Georgian Bay Forever will be hosting their annual community cut for invasive Phragmites! The work will be taking place both in water and on land along the shoreline. Equipment will be provided, but it is recommended that volunteers bring gloves, waders and/or shoes for working in the water, along with water to drink, sunscreen, hat, bug spray and whatever else needed for working outdoors.
In case of a thunderstorm and/or heavy rainfall, the event will be cancelled and rescheduled to the next day (Friday July 26th). Cancelations will be posted on our website event page and shared through our social media platforms.
Where:Waubaushene Dock/Beach area at the bottom of Pine St in Tay Township.
When:Thursday July 25th (rain date Friday July 26th) from 9am-12pm
